Chinese President urged to halt dam project by Kachins
The People's Republic of China ; have to respect the local , Kachin Ethnic People and their appealing to the Chinese President to halt the dam project in Kachin State immediately ; to stop the relocation of the approximately more than 60 villages to other designated areas as it is ordered by the Burmese Military Junta .
This is an invasion of the Kachin Ethnic People's land ; in which they ancestors have lived for centuries as their traditional culture of farming & fishing depends on this Irrawaddy River ; which is the begging of the Irrawaddy River & the second longest river in the world after the Amazon River in Brazil .
The , Kachin Ethnic People have a right to say whether it should be developed into a dam as China & the Burmese Military Junta have agreed upon . I f, China refused to co-operate with the local Kachin Ethnic People in Kachin State ; the consequences of the imminent dangers from the natural disasters of flooding , an unforeseen brake away of the dam , the eco-systems which will be destroyed all the way to the Irrawaddy Delta Regions ; which the rice bowl of Burma will be effected as well .
I am urging the ; Chinese President to seriously consider all the proposals from the local Kachin Ethnic People & their Pleas to stop this project immediately .

Disgruntled voters take down veteran senator Arlen Specter | Reuters
Veteran Senator : Arlene Spector has his tenure in the Senate for a long time and has his in-print of his legacy . He is a very compromising leader from the Republican Party ; until he switched his party affiliation to the Democratic Party for some of the republicans excessive & extreme point of view to the far left / to the right point of view without the co-operation to the President : Obama & his administration's effort to contain the mounting deficit that has been resulted from the eight years of the Republican President : George W. Bush's unwise decision to wage a war in Iraq with the wrong intelligence report from the then : CIA ; Agency & his top deputy , the Vice President :Dick Cheney's influenced on the President's decision making & his policy of the foreign affairs and the national security decisions .
I am really saddened to see him lost his efforts in this by-election to secure his seat as a senator from Pennsylvania State . A veteran senator has so many years of experiences in the foreign affairs & the judicial committee , he has done a tremendous good job for the nation to the best of his ability to serve the nation in time of necessity & crisis arises .
So long , Senator : I wish you have the best life in retirement & enjoy .The time has come for a new generation of new blood to lead the nation again in your place .

GM swings to first quarterly profit in years
The General Motors as a giant motor car company in the world at one time has fallen on hard time because of the economy & the competition from foreign motor manufacturing companies around the world were making cheaper ; more fuel efficient cars on the demands of the American consumers and their ability to adapt to the taste of the challenging economies in America & around the world .
With the " Tarp " rescued efforts to infuse billions of dollars to rescue ; GM , from going under from this President: Obama & his administration efforts have been paying off with the news of GM reported first quarterly profits in nearly three years .
With the restructuring efforts to trim down the costs and the branding of some of the cars from taking off from the manufacturing altogether has made GM ; one of the most daring & innovation to survive in this kind of hard time & the challenge that is posing from the foreign motor cars producers . GM ; has done a very good job to retain the name and the reputation as one of the best of the best in this industry .

With the major opposition party , NLD --is already disbanded due to the Military Generals constitutional amendment and the election laws of 2010 ; there is no credibility for the military generals that were changing their military uniforms into the civilian roles as all members of the ministerial post including the prime minister himself have officially stepped down from their office as military generals and assuming under the civilian roles as a civil government and continue their business as usual .
This is only going to happen in a communist / socialist state or Neo-Nazis type of supremacists superiority majority that ruled their countryman without the agreement and the voters who have desperately searching for a change in their society to become a democratic reform with the freedom that everybody can live without fear and interference from their government .
Without the monitoring from the international communities , trying to observe in a nation that has been under the military rulers for 48 years ; and in more than 20 years after the election in 1990 that has been worn with a sounding majority of votes for the NLD and was denied to proceed to form a democratic government in Burma . With the detaining of the Major Opposition figure:the very noble laureate : Daw Aung San Su Kyi ; since her detaining and the serving of the 14 years a prisoner at her own home in the last 20 years ; the military generals were in effect ruling under the radar of " Guns "!

The Comparison between the Republican Presidents and the Democratic Presidents in four decades since 1960s to 2010.
When ever the Republican President takes over the White House and the National Office ; the nation's economy were in declining states and the opinion of the world toward the Americans were not good at all . The Democratic President takes over the power from the failing economy and the declining states of the popularity of the Americans in the opinion of the world is increasingly with better optimism and have good words and praising the efforts of the bringing back the ruins of the economy that has been left by the Republican President to his successor of the Democratic President . Throughout the history ; if we look back from the 60s. to the present day of the 21st.century of the 2010 , the Democratic Presidents were the one's that does a good job and create more jobs and the growth of the economy and the prosperity around the world has been a very positive sign in four decades . The records of the Republican Presidents were not as good as their counterpart of the Democratic President . The importance of maintaining the ecosystems of the Irrawaddy River in Kachin State ( Burma ).
I agree with ; James Cannon Boyce : in his view toward the environmental concerns with the United States that has lost more forest than in Brazil . The needs to balance the ecosystem and maintaining the nature is the key to control the rising temperature on earth ; which has the evidence of the melting of the ice chunks in the North Pole and the rising water level that is threatening the low level areas around the world which is loosing out the lands to the rising sea level and disappearing at an alarming rate .
In the northern part of the country of Burma ; in Kachin State , the Chinese in the north have an agreement with the Burmese Military Generals to construct a dam at the beginning of the Irrawaddy River ; which is the second longest river in the world and produce electricity and send the electricity to the neighboring ; Yunnan Province in China . With the damming of the Irrawaddy River ; the Chinese have the advantage over the local Burmese People and their loss of lands and the environmental disasters that is arising from the damaging of the ecosystems of the river beds and the fishery products that has been relying on the river throughout the Irrawaddy River Delta areas and it will destroy not only the natural settings of the ecosystems but also damaging the lively- hoods of the fisherman that has been relying on the river for centuries .
I strongly ; protest the Chinese Government for their decisions to put and construct the dam on the Irrawaddy River ! As recently as last week ; news have been circulating in the Yunnan Province that ; because of the rising heat waves and the scarcity of the water due to the constructions of the so many of the dams in China have contributed to this climate change in China .
With all the above considerations of the natural disasters that has been made by man and change the entire ecosystems that have the effect on the climate change is a warning signs for all of us in the world which relies heavily on the ecosystems and the importance to balance it to maintaining it .
China ; please leave from the northern part of Burma ( Kachin State ) ; and put a stop on all the projects !.
